Your Land
Land is the most important resource in a medieval world. More land means more strength and more income. It is the indicator of your rank. You start with
a basic supply of 200 hectare (what's just enough for Knight). Only 90 hectare have buildings in the beginning. The land you own is worthless if you don't
use it. You have to decide carefully what kind of buildings you need to have success. The continued wrong choice at this very basic point will surely
lead to your destruction.
Inner Kingdom Politics
I have already quite often referred to your Kingdom and it's Monarch. Of course the Kingdom starts without one. You and your fellow players have to vote
one out of your midst to get into that position. There is a page dedicated for that purpose that you can find at Misc/Politics. Here you have a list with
all your fellow players and the votes they have placed and the sum of votes they have got from others. To become a Monarch, one needs at least 2/3 of the
totally placed votes. So basically one vote is enough to become one if there aren't any other placed votes.
A Monarch has the posibillity to asign the titel of a Prince/Princess. Beside the fact that this one has moderator rights in the forum and can help his
Monarch (who has administrator rights), the Prince(ss) is also a real heir to the throne. In case the Monarchs province vanishes (got killed, deleted or
stopped playing) all votes that were placed for him get transfered to this heir. So normally the dead of the Monarch shouldn't have a too grave impact on
the other players.
As long as you don't have a Monarch, your kingdom is in a state of civil war. In this time of inner unrest, your defense in all fields is reduced by 10%
to mirror the fact that you have no secure frontier anymore, as you are surounded by enemies. Other kingdoms can see that just by looking at the ranking
lists as there is a C on red ground displayed there in such a case. In other words, the fact that there is no King/Queen paints you with a big crosshair.

Manage Land
In the Manage/Land menu you find two different entries. One gives you the oportunity to explore land. Basically you send out a mixed troop to claim
hectare from the kingdom pool, of course doing so during times of war is a lot more dangerous. With the second one you can drop the hectare you
don't want to have. However, this option is only accessable during times of peace to prevent abuse. Why drop land at all? Well, imagine a strong
attacker that grows during war time a lot faster than it's good for him. Additionally he out grows his fellow kingdom members and the size difference
will make him pretty useless in the next wars. So he shares the hectare he has no use for anyway with the others, that now may increase their size
through exploring. Not to forget that the amount of available land is limited and after a while there will be nothing to explore left if nobody is
sharing his gains.
Kingdom Relations
There isn't much choice for that. Either you are at war with another Kingdom, or you are not. Your own Monarch can declare war (one at a time) against
other Kingdoms as long as their size is right. The current war size requirements can be found in the Status/Game section. Up to two other Kingdoms may
declare war upon your Kingdom at once. And as a special case, if your Kingdom has no Monarch you are at the state of civil war. So in a worst case
scenario you could have one war declared by yourself, be at war with additional two others and loose your Monarch to get into civil war.
To lessen the impact of ongoing wars against your Kingdom, the maximum duration of a war is limited. Additionally the war-slot is still blocked for some
time after a war is ended to give you the chance to rebuild before the next one can be declared against you.
Once you have been at war with another Kingdom, this one is barred for you until at least 5 times of the minimal war time has passed. I am not sure why I
implemented this, but there has been some reason, I am sure...
